LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – A call of someone trying to break into a business sent LaFollette Police Officer Jesse Ferguson to Farmers Home Furniture. When he arrived, he found Kenny Bale next to the side door of the business. Bale allegedly matched the description of the suspect given by dispatch.

It was around 9pm on Tue., Feb. 6, when Bale was detained without any issues to investigate what had occurred. During this time LaFollette Police Officer Austin Tindell noticed a bulge in Bale’s left sock. He asked Bale what it was, and he stated that it was his medication. Tindell removed the bulge from Bale’s sock that was two yellow packs labeled “Buprenorphine” along with three different types of pills. Bale was arrested and transported to the Campbell County Jail.

Bale, 42, 655 Wheeler Lane, Jacksboro was charged with possession of schedule V controlled substance, possession of legend drug, possession without prescription and possession schedule III. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 02/16/2024-6AM)
