Linda Mae Williford born August 12, 1953, fell asleep in death at her home on February 10, 2024. She married her loving husband of 52 years Billy H. Williford on September 8, 1971. She often joked that she kissed him so much it made the hair fall off his head. However, she revealed that she fell in love with the sound of his voice. Together they had 2 children, Angela Saylor (David) and James Williford (Mary). They had 6 grandchildren Tyler Williford (Nicole), Rachel Talbott (James), Haley Williford, Samantha Williford, Rex Williford, and Lynleigh Williford. Bonus grandson Stevan Smith (Olivia), 3 great grandchildren Chase Williford, Riley Williford, and Zayden Williford. 3 fur great grandbabies Willow, Susie, and Katerina. Sister Pat Branam, special cousins Marylou and Joanie. Best friend Barbara Willoughby and husband Junior. She was a Jehovah’s Witness of 41 years. Never missing a meeting or an opportunity to share her faith. Anyone that knew her knew her love for all things sports and her Vols. She was a tomboy at heart but loved purses. She was very outspoken but tactful with a wonderful sense of humor. She was very nurturing to all animals and to those she loved. Often reading to them and cooking for them. Her hope was to live again on a paradise earth where her loved ones look forward to seeing her happy and healthy again.
