CARYVILLE, TN (WLAF) – Caryville Volunteer Fire Chief Eddie Hatmaker and members of his department drove the town’s new fire engine home from Decatur, Alabama, on Monday. “Our firefighters started early Tuesday morning getting the new unit ready to put in service,” said Chief Hatmaker.

“This is a 2023 Freightliner that carries 1,000 gallons of water, and the pump is capable of pumping 1,250 gallons of water a minute. The new truck is already loaded with water and foam,” said the chief. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 02/07/2024-6AM)
