Jean Henson, age 82 of LaFollette passed away Saturday, February 3rd, 2024. She was a member of Forks Grove Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by husband Jesse Henson, parents Jordan Lee Smith and Florence Brown Smith, son-in-law Brian Gibson. She was well known for her wonderful cakes, pies, candy, and canned goods, that she freely gave to many people to enjoy.

Son: Wayne & wife Terri Henson

Granddaughter: Jessica Gibson & Fiancé Logan Gilbert

Grandson: Jordan Reitz

Family will receive friends 5-7 PM Wednesday, February 7th with funeral service to follow in the Cross-Smith Chapel, Rev. Ronnie Poston, Rev. Larry Russell officiating. Family and friends will meet 9:15 AM Thursday, February 8th at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Fincastle Cemetery for 11 AM graveside service and interment.
