Eric Eugene Patterson, age 45 of Rocky Top, passed away on January 29, 2024 at his home. He was born on November 19, 1978 to Michael Eugene and Cathy Tucker Patterson. He loved being in the outdoors, riding 4-wheelers in the mountains. Eric was also always tinkering with something. He was family focused, and was a loving, caring man with a big heart. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by: father, Michael Eugene Patterson; siblings, Shenna Idles, Michael Todd Patterson, and Tony York.

He is survived by wife, Heather Patterson; mother, Cathy Tucker Patterson; children, Leeland, Patterson, Alyssa Crowley and husband Joseph; special family, Ernie Ciuffini Jackie Ciuffini, Phillip Sexton and Jesse Ciuffini; brother, Vinnie York; nieces, Haley Siler and husband Tim, Lacey Livingstone and husband Justin, and Alisha Miller and husband Levi; great-nieces, Macy and Mallory Siler, Sophia, Livingstone, and Cora Miller; several aunts uncles, other family and friends; and also his pets Rascal, Gunner, and Ranger.

The family is planning a celebration of life for a later date.
