Everett Shawn Longmire, age 51 of LaFollette, departed this life on Saturday February 3, 2024 at his residence. He was born October 3, 1972 in Detroit, Michigan. Shawn loved riding motorcycles, fixing cars, playing pool and guitars. He enjoyed spending time with his two daughters.

He is preceded in death by his father, Eugene Everett Longmire and his brother, Verlin Evans.

Shawn is survived by his daughters, Cheyenne Woods and husband, Beau of Jacksboro and Chloe Longmire; mothers, Janie Hubbard of Madisonville and Lucie Ivey of Caryville; brothers, Tim Longmire and wife, Lisa of Jacksboro, Cliff Longmire and wife, Stacy of Caryville and Charles Ivey of Caryville; sisters, Christian Pietrangelo and husband Robert of Newport, Michigan and Elsie Kniffen of Jacksboro; grandson, Hudson and another grandchild on the way; several nieces, nephews, and host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.

Shawn’s wishes were to be cremated following services.
