Buddy Ray Huckaby, age 69 of LaFollette, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 19, 2024, at Tennova North Medical. He was born June 2, 1954, to the late J.B. Bud Huckaby and Trula Mae (Polson) Huckaby. Buddy was a loving husband of 49 years, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather that enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and loved working in the garden and watching and feeding the birds. Buddy was of the Baptist Faith and a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son Michael Todd Huckaby and his brother Michael Joe Huckaby.

Buddy is survived by his loving wife Patsy Huckaby of LaFollette; brothers James “Jim” Huckaby and Victoria of LaFollette and Harold Wayne Huckaby and Diane of LaFollette; sister Mildred June Foust of LaFollette; grandchildren Alexis Huckaby and Hannah Huckaby; great grandchildren Marygrace and Braylee Huckaby; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be held from 2:00-4:00 PM on Sunday January 28, 2024, at The Local Restaurant.
