Light freezing drizzle may continue to impact travel conditions this morning. Accumulating snowfall is expected across higher elevations of southwest Virginia and the East Tennessee mountains, including Campbell County. Very cold temperatures and breezy winds will combine for dangerous wind chills tonight into Saturday.

Very cold temperatures are expected Friday night and through the weekend, with low temperatures falling into the single digits and wind chills below zero at times. Windy conditions in the mountains will produce wind chills of -15 degrees or lower. Similarly cold temperatures are expected Saturday night, with widespread temperatures in the low single digits to perhaps the negative single digits.
