CAMPBELL COUNTY, TN. (WLAF)- Campbell County Road Crews have been out since 10pm Sunday in efforts to keep the roads safe.

As of 10am the roads are in “fair” condition, according to Campbell County Road Superintendent Ron Dilbeck.

The main roads have been cleared with some people traveling on them.

Secondary roads are now the area of focus.

“We are concentrating on those right now,” Dilbeck said. “We have 17 plows going.”

Crews are using salt and gravel to combat this “dry, cold snow,” he said.

At this point there doesn’t seem to be any ice under the snow in the lower elevations, according to Dilbeck. However, the higher elevations could have ice based on the weather conditions.

The LaFollette Utilities Board Outage Map is reporting no outages among its over 22,000 customers.
