The driver suffered minor injuries in the 5:27am wreck.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – A car hit a patch of black ice and flipped on its side just outside La Follette on Jellico Highway, according to officials. The 5:27am accident temporarily kept the driver from getting out of the car.

Highway 25W South (Jellico Highway) was shutdown for a while as first responders extracted the woman out of the car. One lane has since been reopened.
