Morning accident on Highway 25W results in injury

Two vehicle wreck occurred near the Coke Oven Campground blocking the road

LAFOLLETTE, TN. (WLAF)- An accident with injury is blocking the road on Highway 25W just north of LaFollette.

Officials on the scene said a white Crown Victoria traveling south allegedly crossed the center line veering into the path of a county dump truck that was traveling north.

Although the driver of the dump truck made efforts to avoid the car, he was unsuccessful. The car made contact with truck.

The female driving the car was injured and taken to the LaFollette Medical Center for treatment. The driver of the truck was not injured.
