Jennifer Eilene (Parks) Davis, age 66, of the Roses Creek Community of Clairfield, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord early Tuesday morning, January 2, 2024, at her home, surrounded by her family and friends.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids.  She also enjoyed cooking for her family and sewing.  When she wasn’t doing this, she loved taking pictures of sunsets and nature with her gentleman friend, Ronnie Partin.

She was born on March 2, 1957, to the late Mike Daniel Parks and Lois June (Buckner) Parks in Middlesboro, Kentucky.

Her paternal grandparents were the late Ike and Maude Parks.  Her maternal grandparents were the late Henry and Sophie Buckner.

In addition to her parents and grandparents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, James L. Davis; two brothers, Gary Mike Parks and Stephen Daniel Parks; sister, Vicky Sowders, and husband, Hobert Sowders.

Left to mourn her passing are her two daughters, April Davis, and Taj, of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, and Rebecca Davis Howerton, and husband, Jonathon, of Clairfield; six granddaughters, Mackenzie Thompson, and Wayne, of Fayetteville, NC, Sandra Smith and Jennifer Smith, both of Wake Forest, NC, Annabeth Howerton, Skylar Howerton, and Meredith Howerton, all of Clairfield; and two great-granddaughters, Oaklynn Thompson and Magnolia Thompson, both of Fayetteville, NC.

Jennifer is also survived by six brothers, Larry Parks, of Ohio, Pat Parks, of Clairfield, Timmy Parks, of Ohio, Bruce Parks, of Clairfield, Brian Parks, of Wake Forest, NC, and Terry Parks, and Melanie, of South Carolina; two sisters, Melody Parks, and Beverly Hagen, of South Carolina, and Mary (Parks) Lambdin, and husband, Bossy, of Middlesboro; special cousins, George and Shonda Lay, of Frakes, KY; daughter-in-love, Joanna Justice, of Harrogate, TN; two grandsons-in-love, Thomas Justice and Riley Justice, both of Harrogate, TN; lifelong friends, LuVada King and Martha Partin; special gentleman friend, Ronnie Partin, of Harrogate, TN; and a host of friends, neighbors and other relatives to mourn her passing.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday afternoon, January 6, 2024, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the New Rock Creek Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert “Bob” Terry officiating.
