LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Santa is scheduled to make an early holiday stop at the Dewey Hunter Center in LaFollette thanks to the efforts of “Caring Cousins” second district commissioner Scott Kitts and Jaylynn Kitts Malone.

The “Caring Cousins” Christmas event will be Fri., Dec. 22, at 11 am, at the Dewey Hunter Center, LaFollette. 

The event includes a visit from Santa, as well as treats and presents. The “Caring Cousins” will also be giving out $20 Walmart gift cards for the kids.

The Caring Cousins Christmas event is Friday at 11 at the Dewey Hunter Center in LaFollette. Commissioner Scotty Kitts said they have purchased over 400 gift cards for the event.

According to Scott Kitts, they have raised enough funds to purchase over 400 $20 gift cards for the event. 

Organizers are asking parents to arrive early with their children to see Santa Claus.

“He’ll be arriving from the north pole with lots of toys, and there will be free pictures with him. So please bring your cell phone to take photos. We’re expecting this event to be huge. We are so excited to be doing this for our children and the community,” Scott Kitts said.
