CARYVILLE, TN (WLAF) – Three juveniles were injured in a Monday afternoon wreck; two minors were airlifted to a Knoxville hospital.

One medical helicopter landed at the Caryville ballfield while the other touched down on the La Follette Medical Center helipad to load and transport patients.

Officials told WLAF the wreck, involving one car, happened at 3:21pm where Butter and Egg Road intersects with M & M Lane.

Here’s part of the path the car took on Butter & Egg Road on its way to its final resting spot on M & M Lane.

The car hit a guardrail on the left of the roadway and then smashed into trees on the right side of the roadway before the car went down M & M Lane, according to one official.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating. Other responding agencies are Caryville Fire and Police, Campbell County EMS and Sheriff’s Office.
