The second crash and dash of the week happened Wednesday night. The other was Tuesday morning.

DUFF, TN (WLAF) – First Responders with the Campbell County Rural Fire Service worked double-duty late Wednesday night. While they were tending to a house fire, they received the call of a motor vehicle wreck.

CCRFS crews were already battling a house fire on Cedar Creek Road when they were dispatched at 11:24pm to a wreck north of La Follette. The accident was on Jellico Highway (South Hwy 25W) just before the Stinking Creek Road turnoff. The dispatcher described the scene as a vehicle on its top with possible injuries to the occupants.

Once there, no occupants were located. CCRFS crews contained a fuel spill created as a result of the rolled over small pick-up truck.
