There have been multiple drug overdoses at the Campbell County Jail in 2023.
JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Members of the Campbell County Corrections Staff arrested 30 -year- old Haley Wallace on multiple charges on Tuesday night. Wallace, Long Hollow Road, La Follette, was arrested after an investigation by the corrections staff into a possible narcotics drop point, The alleged intentions of having narcotics delivered inside the Campbell County Jail, according to a report from the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputy Savannah Webber received information that Wallace was planning to make the drop in an undisclosed location. After hours of investigation by Webber, she turned the evidence over to Lt. Mikey Owens who worked with First Sgt. Jacob Jones, Sgt. Heather Ray, Sgt. Christina Goodman and Field Training Officer (FTO) Wayne Miracle.
Wallace was eventually around 7:30pm as she entered the lobby of the Campbell County Jail. She admitted to being in possession of narcotics. The deputies recovered approximately 21 grams of what was believed to be Methamphetamine, a Clonazepam pill, and numerous items of drug paraphernalia.
The investigation is ongoing and more charges are pending.
Wallace was charged with possession of schedule II manufacture/sell/delivery, possession of schedule IV, 14 counts possession of drug paraphernalia, introduction of contraband into a penal facility, and drug free school zone.
An arraignment awaits Wallace who remains housed in the Campbell County Jail this morning without bond. This was Wallace’s first booking into the county jail, based on jail records. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 11/16/2023-6AM)
