LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) –
A Cancer benefit fundraiser for Pam Cannon is scheduled for Saturday, November 18 from noon to 6 pm at the Ball Farm Event Center. There will be gospel music performers, arts, crafts, food and more!
Everyone is invited to come out and help support Mike and Pam Cannon to raise funds to help cover medical expenses due to Pam’s battle with cancer and her death.
Gospel Singers for the benefit include The Powers Family, The Tributes, Vic Graves, The Joyaires, Heavenly Heirs, and Locust Ridge.
There will be arts and crafts, a live auction, a pie toss, food from Vanessa Dupuy, Classy Threads & Catering, jewelry, and even haircuts will be available.
Pam Cannon was a nurse for 28 years. She worked at LaFollette Hospital, nursing home, and was a private duty nurse. In 2016 she was diagnosed with colon cancer and passed away October 20th.
Her husband of 40 years, Michael Cannon, works at Hearthside Bank.

According to benefit organizer Keisha Howard, Pam’s nick name is “Rocky Balboa”, because of her “strong will to fight.”
“Some of us called her “Rocky Balboa” because every time she got knocked flat, she was back up ready to fight her battle again. Pam would always tell us, “God’s got this.” Howard said.
Several businesses and individuals have donated auction and sale items for Saturday’s event at the Ball Farm.
“We’re so appreciative of the support of this benefit. Everyone is invited to help support this great family!” Howard said. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 11/13/2023-6AM)
