Tonya Lynn Daugherty Ayers, age 47 of Caryville, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023 at her home. She was born on May 9, 1976 to Gary and Betty Poston Daugherty in Lafollette. She enjoyed cooking and scrapbooking before her sight failed. Tonya loved little animals like dogs and cats. She was of the Baptist faith and will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by grandparents, Earl and Nan Daugherty, and Robert and Opal Poston.

In addition to her parents, she is survived, brother, Terry Rice; daughter, Laura Brugman and husband Adam; sons, Luke Ayers and wife Sara, and Jacob Scudder; grandchildren, Parker and Taylan Ayers; niece, Megan Sprouse; and other family and friends.
