Balloon creations were a fun part of Thursday’s Winter Carnival.

CARYVILLE, TN (WLAF) – The thirst the Caryville community has had for a school carnival was quenched on Thursday evening when Caryville Elementary School hosted its Winter Carnival. CES Principal Allison Poston said “our gratitude during this special time of year could never be fully expressed.”

Everyone chipped in to make Thursday’s carnival a huge success.

“Thank you to the students, parents, employees, and many, many generous community partners who have donated their time and resources to help us fundraise for the school,” said Poston.

All the youngsters had a big time.

The highly successful event spanned three fun hours from 5pm until 8pm. The school was abuzz with an energy the community welcomed to the carnival.

Fishing was one of the many stations that had a long line.

“We have such a familial atmosphere at this school, and we are excited to kick off the holiday season with the families that mean so much,” said Principal Poston.

Countless items were donated for sale.
