LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Valley View Elementary held its Fall Carnival Friday evening, drawing a huge crowd to the school.

The fun filled evening featured games and entertainment, as well as a silent and live auction and much more!

The Carnival is organized each year by the Carnival committee which consists of teachers, administration and PTO members. This year’s chairperson was kindergarten teacher Brittany Vann.

The annual Fall Carnival at Valley View Elementary drew a crowd on Friday night for what organizers say may be the biggest Carnival turnout yet!

Live entertainment was provided by Tennessee 90, while the kids enjoyed a cakewalk, concessions, stuffed animal adoptions, the petting zoo, cotton candy, baked goods, a bounce house and more.

Classroom baskets were auctioned off. Each classroom basket had a different theme.

Jamie Mundy Ball, president of the Valley View PTO said they sold tons of concessions Friday night. The petting zoo was a kid favorite at Valley View’s Fall Carnival.

Valley View Elementary School PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) President Jamie Mundy Ball said this year’s carnival went great. The PTO is in charge of the concession stand, and it was hopping Friday evening!

“The crowd was amazing. It was probably the biggest carnival ever. We had lots of homemade baked goods and soups made by parents,” Ball said.
