CAMPBELL COUNTY, TN. (WLAF)- Leadership Campbell County had an adventure Thursday during “Natural Resource Day.”

Participants visited the LaFollette Utilities Jacksboro Substation, the LUB Waste Water Plant as well as an in-depth tour of Norris Dam.

Leadership Campbell County Committee Secretary and LaFollette Utilities Director of Engineering & Operations – Water and Wastewater Bryan Gipson was one of the leaders for Thursday’s activities.

“The Campbell County Leadership Class met on Thursday for its Natural Resources Day. The class toured The LaFollette Utilities Board’s (LUB) Jacksboro Electric Substation. From there the class visited Norris Dam for an in-depth tour of that facility. A lunch and presentation was held at The Lenoir Museum. The class wrapped up an exciting day at LUB’s Waste Water Treatment Plant for a tour of the plant operation and facilities,” Gibson said.

Leadership Campbell County participants are halfway through their 10 month program which meets once a month and concludes in March with an overnight trip to Nashville. Leadership Campbell County is sponsored by the Campbell County Chamber of Commerce.
