Rev. Danny Robert Gibson, Sr. age 77 of LaFollette

Rev. Danny Robert Gibson, Sr. age 77 of LaFollette passed away peacefully in his home Tuesday, October 17th. He was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. He was member of Jacksboro Masonic Lodge #322 F&AM and Knoxville Scottish Rite. He is preceded in death by wife Carolyn Sue Gibson, son Danny Robert Gibson, Jr. Parents J.B. Gibson and Marry Ellen Gibson Siler, mother-in-law Helen Marie Williams, step-father Leonard Siler, brother-in-law Otis Sivils.

Survivors:

Daughters: Amy & Husband Jerry Wilson, Lisa Lynn Gibson Perry

Grandchildren: Corey (Theresa) Perry, Olivia (Jamie) Perry, Jarrett Wilson, Sydney Mullins, and Gavin Wilson.

Great-Grandchildren: Knoxleigh Grace Wilson

Special Niece: Rachel Meredith

Sister: Novella (Jimmie) Sivils and children, Mary Ruth, Nancy & Jim.

Along with many nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends from 5-6:45 PM Thursday, October 19th , at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with Masonic service to follow at 6:45 PM, and funeral service to follow at 7 PM in the Cross-Smith Chapel, Rev. Larry Russell officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 AM Friday, October 20th, at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Powell Valley Cemetery for graveside service and interment.
