Silas Tipton, age 82, went home to be with the Lord and joined his wife Mary in their Heavenly Home on October 11, 2023, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born February 26, 1941 in Ravenna Kentucky. Silas served the Lord his whole life and was a longtime member of Higher Ground Church. Silas loved spending time with his family, riding in the mountains with his wife and sons, hunting, going to flea markets and mowing grass. Silas was loved by everyone and will be greatly missed.

Silas was preceded in death by wife: Mary (Ford) Tipton, parents: Edd and Mamie Tipton, brother: James and sisters: Ona, Thelma and Mavis.

Daughter: Lisa Carroll and husband David

Sons: Silas (Marlen) Tipton and wife Ginger, Mark Tipton, Emmanuel Tipton and wife Evon, Steve Tipton and wife Jessica

Brothers: Raymond and Bobby

Sister: Peggy

Grandchildren: Christina, Misty, John, Randie, Shelby and Alexis

Great-Grandchildren: Andrew, Emily, Sophie, Alli, Hunter, Riley, Marissa and Maci

A private service was held at his bedside with his family and no other services are planned.
