Mrs. Donna Whaley, age 63 of Speedwell, passed away Monday, October 9, 2023.  She was of the Baptist Faith.  Donna served for many years as a Substitute Teacher with the Campbell County School System, and was previously employed with Big Lots.  Preceded in death by Husband, Bruce Whaley in July 2023, Parents, Ray and Ruby Edwards Bratcher, Grandparents, Jim and Emma Edwards, and Claude and Ethel Bratcher.    

Survivors:  Son, Evan Whaley; Brother, Steven Ray Bratcher and wife, Linda; Aunts, Sue Whaley, Mary Jane Whaley, and Bernice Shepherd; Uncle, Glen Edwards; Family Friend and Caregiver, David Hicks.  Numerous Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services Thursday, October 12, 2023, 7:00 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Russell officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Thursday before funeral services.  Family and Friends will meet Friday, October 13, 2023, 11:00 A.M. at Beeler Cemetery for Graveside Services and Interment.
