James Ray Hurst, age 53, of LaFollette went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 30, 2023. He loved to fish, hunt and spend time with his family. He was a hard worker that loved to provide for his family.

Preceded in death by Mother: Brenda Gail Hurst, Grandparents: James and Dorothy Luttrell

Survived by:

Daughters: Samantha Francis, Mary Hurst and Scarlet Jones (David)

Son: James Ray Hurst Jr. (Michelle)

Grandchildren: Chloe, Leland Jr. Ava, Mia, Ellie, Aaliyah, Benjamin, Emma, Hayden, Emberlee

Father: Charles Hurst

Brothers: Scott Hurst, Kelly Hurst, Charles Hurst

Sisters: Tammy Hurst and Falon Hurst

Significant other Wanda Collins and a host of other relatives and friends

The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
