CCRFS firefighters contain fire that had big time potential near Hatfield Knob

PIONEER, TN (WLAF) – At 4:12pm Sunday, firefighters with the Campbell County Rural Fire Service were dispatched to the Elk Viewing Tower road for a report of an ATV on fire.

Upon arrival, crews found the ATV on fire and the wood line around it on fire. Crews extinguished the ATV fire and the fire at the nearby wooded area.
