TOP PHOTO: The TBI Silver Alert for Robert Lawson was issued and then cancelled on the same day, today, as he returned home about an hour after sun up.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Robert Lawson went missing Tuesday afternoon and was gone all night. As a result, a TBI Silver Alert was issued early Wednesday morning for the 72-year old La Follette man. See the previous story HERE.

Of concern for all involved is the medical condition from which Lawson suffers, and their was fear it may impair his ability to return safely without assistance. Fortunately it did not.

“He came back home, on Pleasant Ridge, at 8:30 this morning (Wed.). Mr. Lawson returned on foot, and he is OK,” said Campbell County Sheriff’s Chief Deputy Cody Chapman.

One report of a possible sighting came in around noon on Tuesday. A person thought they spotted Lawson on ATV Trail 19 near Fred’s Way. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 09/27/2023-3PM)
