There are several events that happen around town each week, and I’m keeping you in the loop about what’s going on in our neck of the woods. Each week, I will share local happenings, and you’ll be up-to-speed. FREE COMMUNITY MEALS: Two churches host free meals on Tuesday, September 26th. In La Follette, the Methodist Church has a free meal from 5pm until 6pm or while the supply lasts. That’s across from the hospital. East Jacksboro Baptist Church’s free meal runs 4:30pm until the food is gone. EJBC is between Jacksboro Elementary School and the big bridge.

FALL JUBILEE MONTHLY CAMPBELL COUNTY PREACHER’S FELLOWSHIP MEETING IS HOSTED AT DUFF BAPTIST CHURCH MONDAY OCTOBER 2ND, 7:00 P.M. PASTOR DON ALLEN, CHURCH MEMBERSHIP, AND CAMPBELL COUNTY PREACHER’S FELLOWSHIP MEMBERSHIP WE;COMES EVERYONE AND ENCOURAGES TO EACH ONE ATTENDING BRING A FRIEND AND A LOST SINNER TO THIS WONDERFUL FALL MEETING . THERE WILL BE KING JAMES BIBLE PREACHING COMPLIMENTED BY GLORIOUS, HOLY GHOST  SINGING BY THE CHURCH CHOIR AND VARIOUS SPECIAL OTHER SINGERS,YOU WILL BE BLESSED BY THE WONDERFUL SERVICE WHERE JESUS IS LIFTED UP  AND EXALTED ABOVE ALL.
SISTERS OF CHURCH WILL SERVE A DELICIOUS MEAL AFTER THE SPIRIT FILLED PRECIOUS SERVICE.

  4. Mathew- many thanks for a splendid idea. Looking forest to seeing much of our wonderful community at Z I’ve Lake State Park on Sat Sept 24 for the 15th Louie Bluie Festival. Bring a mandolin or fiddle and jam at the Jamming Tent!!

  5. Outstanding work. Having ‘community bulletin board’ where we can all go to one space to see the events that are going on in our community is so needed. Thanks for taking on the task and making it a useful, successful tool in a media site that so many already rely on for their daily updates on what’s happening in our community.

  8. If you do go to the LaFollette Library as Nancy Green suggests, be sure to tell her you want to check out book one in The LaFollette Chronicles series. It’s titled “The Capri Girl,” and is in the adult book section. Just a suggestion.
