Dax Leon Kesterson, age 46 of Lake City passed away on July 22, 2023, at the Ft. Sander’s Hospital in Knoxville, TN. Dax loved spending time with family more than anything. He enjoyed playing games, riding his motorcycle, and taking long drives in his Mustang. He was a hard worker, and he loved his co-workers. Dax never met a stranger. He was loved by all and found joy in everything he did. Dax is preceded in death by his father, Unice Leon Kesterson.

Mother: Patricia Tweed

Girlfriend: Kim Phillips

Sons: Jordan Braden, Brandon Phillips, Ethan Phillips, and Christian Phillips

Daughter: Nevaeh Phillips

Sisters: Robin Godfrey (Matt), Brandy Wagner (Robert)

The family would like to thank: Chaplain Moore at Fort Sanders; and the staff and doctors at Oak Ridge Hospital and Fort Sanders for taking such good care of Dax.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Norris Dam State Park beginning at 12 Noon.
