Betty Jo Parolari, age 84, of Knoxville, formerly of LaFollette, passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2023. She was born April 1, 1939, in LaFollette, TN, was a member of Fincastle Church and loved watching UT sports, working in her yard and flowers, shopping and “running the roads” with her friends. She graduated from LaFollette High School and Draughn’s Jr. College of Business and worked at Imperial Reading Corporation in payroll, Healthtex in payroll and Lafollette Community Hospital as CNA, ward clerk and retired as administrative assistant.

Preceded in death by Husband of 28 years and 8 months, married November 24, 1963, Joseph N. Parolari (1992), Parents: Leonard D. Green and Florence (Smith) Green, Brothers: William E. Green Sr. and wife Joyce, Howard S. Green and wife Irene, Leslie “Snooks” Green and wife Roberta.

Daughter: Jo Ella Pack and husband Mark

Grandchildren: John Smiddy and Kaitlyn, Ashley Flanagan and Andy, Krystal Foust and Josh

Great-Grandchildren: Kenna Flanagan, Mac Callahan, Bella Foust, and Lincoln Smiddy (due December)

Special Friends: Carolyn Elmore and Bob, Jimmy Fay Trotter, Jimmie Sue Sparks and T.J.

Sitters: Jerry Ma, Emily Goode, Jennifer Atchley
