JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – The Campbell County Regional Planning Commission approved several minor lot subdivisions and a resolution regarding Noah Lane during its monthly meeting on Thursday.
First approved was a minor lot subdivision for Steve Bostic on Pinecrest Road. It is being divided into several lots.
County Planner Jordan Rockwell said it looked good to him and recommended approval.
Also approved was a minor lot subdivision for Virginia Claiborne on State Route 63.
This was also recommended to be approved by Rockwell, as was a minor lot subdivision for Jack Miller on Springs Lane.
Also approved was the acceptance of Noah Lane into the county road system.
“I’ve talked to Ron Dilbeck, and he is comfortable with accepting it into the county road system,” Rockwell said.
This will have to go to the county commission for final approval.
The final minor lot subdivision approved was for Leslie Wells.
Commissioners also heard from concerned citizen Phil Bay about issues on Bell Lane, which has “deteriorated and become dangerous.”
According to Bay, they are asking the county to maintain the road because the “county has worked on it in the past.”
Planning commission member Scott Kitts said they could not even consider taking over the road unless it was “brought up to standard” and directed him to speak to County Road Superintendent Ron Dilbeck and also appear before the county commission with his concerns.
