LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Save-A-Lot has all the bargains a shopper could hope for. With weekly specials on meats, drinks and produce, Save-A-Lot helps stock the pantry and the refrigerator.

“We have a friendly, clean store,” said David Solomn, LaFollette store manager for the last 17 years.

With a focus on bringing the best deals to its customers, Save-A-Lot is always putting the customer first.

“If not for our customers, we would not be here,” Solomn said. “They make us.”

Each week, the LaFollette store has sales on several products but the store staff thinks it is the weekly drink specials that bring the customers in. The store often offers soft drinks and sports drinks at the cheapest prices in town.

“Times are hard financially and we are doing everything we can to help,” Solomn said.

Save-A-Lot is not only good for shoppers, but the employees love it as well.

“These are not just co-workers, we are a family,” said Brittany Bullman, office manager.

For Becky Rose, the store’s assistant manager, her favorite part of the job is her co-workers.

Rose has been with the store for 11 years.

“We want to be an asset to this community,” Solomn said.

As part of its dedication to the community, the local store will be remodeled in an effort to better serve its customers. Another aisle will be added to the store and doors will be added to some of the freezers.

Save A Lot is one of the country’s largest discount grocers with an assortment of approximately 1,800 products, according to the company’s website. It also offers a 100 percent money back guarantee for its customers. Shoppers who are unhappy with the freshness or quality of one of the items can get a replacement or a refund, the website said.
