JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – What was a rock ’em sock’em game through three quarters was all Campbell in the fourth quarter. Fulton held a 30-27 edge after three only to see the Cougars blitz the Maroon and Gray with 16 unanswered points in the final frame. Campbell took the lead for good at 33 to 30, and that was the eighth lead change and final lead change on the night.

Going into tonight’s game Chris Johnson and Bo Farris held the record for the most touchdowns in a single-game at five. Johnson’s came on the ground and the five for Farris were on receptions. Tonight, Gavin Owens set the one game mark via the ground with six touchdowns on 20 carries for 197 yards.

Keegan Cowan rushed 16 times for 100 yards.

The turning point of the game was likely Blake Albright’s end zone interception on Fulton’s first possession of the second half. The Cougars turned Albright’s INT into an 80 yard scoring drive.
