JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Campbell County Sheriff Wayne Barton calls Monday morning’s efforts by the Narcotics Unit successful in its execution of a narcotics search warrant.

Around 10am, investigators made a stop at a Jacksboro home at 149 Poplar Lane. According to the report from the CCSO, two women live at the residence that sits on a dead end road just off McDeerman Road.

Based on the release, investigators recovered evidence from the home that will be used to present the case against the two women to the Campbell County Grand Jury. “It remains an ongoing investigation,” said Chief Deputy Cody Chapman.

Law enforcement has made several stops at this residence over the years. Most recently, two other people, a man and a woman, were arrested on outstanding warrants at this same home in 2022. HERE is that story. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 08/17/2023-6AM)
