JACKSBORO, TN. (WLAF)- A project long in the works has been completed. Yesterday, the benches in the lower courtroom of the Campbell County Courthouse were revealed. They had been shipped to the Morgan County Correctional Facility (MCCF) for the work to be completed.

Sen. Ken Yager was instrumental in the project. During a campaign announcement in Campbell County several years ago, Yager said he noticed the condition of the benches. Eventually, he was able to work with the warden of MCCF, Mike Parris, in the restoration of the benches.
