LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – When getting ready for back to school, decorating a dorm room is on the top of the list for some people.

Rosie’s Farmhouse Life, located inside LaFollette Nutrition, has the décor to take a room from plain to dressed up.

Owned by Anna Brooks, the business offers a variety of home décor and accessories, T-shirts, earrings and more at “affordable prices.”

Rosie’s Farmhouse Life was originally started by Brooks and her daughter Macy Wilcox. Wilcox is the co-owner of LaFollette Nutrition, where Rosie’s Farmhouse Life is also located, across from the First Baptist Church of LaFollette.

The pair did their research and decided to open their own home décor business and “make it affordable to people.” “And we also love to decorate our home and that’s how it all got started,” Brooks said.

According to Brooks the name of her business was inspired by her grandmother Jan Rose.

“My grandfather always called her Rosie,” Brooks said.

Originally the business started in her daughter’s home doing sales via Facebook live. From there, they would do “Stop and Shop” events in parking lots.

Rosie’s Farmhouse Life is also on Facebook and Instagram where they conduct live sales.

The goal with Rosies Farmhouse Life is to “leave a positive impact on everyone she meets.” Brooks said.

“Whether it be a smile or a changed heart. It’s a beautiful thing when a career and a passion come together and that’s exactly what happened when I opened Rosie’s Farmhouse Life in LaFollette,” Brooks said.

Follow its Facebook page for sale notifications. The business is located at 240 West Central Avenue, Suite 9 in LaFollette. For more information, call 865.337.4128. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 08/1/2023-6AM)
