LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – After 13 years on the LaFollette Utility Board, David Longmire is retiring from the board. He will be replaced by Joe Snodderly, who will be sworn into office at next month’s meeting.

“I’ve enjoyed my time here,” Longmire said.

LaFollette Utility Board General Manager Kenny Baird said he believed Longmire was the “longest consecutive serving board member.”

Joe Snodderly, who will be sworn into office at next month’s meeting, replaces David Longmire on the La Follette Utility Board.

“I’ve had a good time working with everyone; it’s an important job. I’m thankful for my time here, and it’s been a pleasure to serve with everyone,” Longmire said. He wished oncoming LUB board member Joe Snodderly good luck with it.

Baird said Longmire’s presence would be missed. 

“We’ve done a lot of projects and progressed during your time here. Thank you for your service,” Baird said.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 06/27/2023-6AM)
