LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – While many of you were sleeping in on Memorial Day morning, the men of Group C at Lafollette Fire Department were up and at it early. They were preparing Downtown Lafollette for Memorial Day.

Above and below, Captain Dusty Davis along with Firefighters Josh Etters and Dillon Goins are preparing the flag to go up on the ladder truck.

In honor of the men and women that gave so much, they placed Old Glory down both sides of Central Avenue.

Lieutenant Brad Young mans the ladder truck controls.

After that they raised the flag in the center of town at Central and Tennessee Avenue, where she will wave until this afternoon. That’s when the crew will return to put her away along with the other flags lining Central. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 05/29/2023-NOON)
