Age 70 of Jellico, Tennessee passed away Monday May 22, 2023, at her home. She was born January 11, 1953, in Szentendre, Hungary.
She arrived in New York on December 17, 1956, and later moved with her family to Chicago. This is where she began her life with her late husband Cledith Ray Lay at the age of 16. He had traveled from Tennessee for work as many did during this time. In September of 1980 they moved to Newcomb, Tennessee, the area in which her husband was originally from. Together they raised their children and shared a life together until his passing in August 2018.
