James Cooper, age 86, of Jacksboro passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2023. He was a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church and retired from Levis after 30+ years. Preceded in death by parents: Bill Cooper and Zora Lindsay, brother: J. B. Cooper and Lee Lindsay, sister: Betty Fritts.

Several nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends 5-7 PM, Friday, May 26th at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 7 PM in Cross-Smith Chapel, Rev. Virgil Farmer and Rev. Bill Wilson officiating. Family and friends will meet Saturday 10 AM at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Indian Creek Cemetery for 11 AM Interment.
