LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – The Farmers’ and Craft Market officially opened for the season last Saturday, and it’s ready to go again tomorrow from 8 am till 2 pm on its second weekend of operation for the new season. Come check out the hand made and home grown items!

The Market is located in the Tractor Supply parking lot across from Doyle’s Tire Shop.

The Market runs each Saturday through the end of September, according to Market Manager Megan Colley. It is free for vendors to set up, but the “biggest regulation” is that whatever you are selling has to be “hand made, home grown, or home raised, such as small farm animals.”

According to Colley, there are usually different vendors from week to week with season vegetables and various hand made goods and crafts.

“We do have baked goods most weekends and home made herbal salves. I sell Tye Dye T-shirts and home made soaps, as well as seasonal garden vegetables,” Colley said.
