JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – On this Throwback Thursday, we look back at Jacksboro’s Main Street. It’s Bartley’s Motor Court and Café from the 1950s in our feature photo.

This was across the street from the Jacksboro First Baptist Church. It’s a parking lot these days.

In later years, the café was operated by Joe Fox who had Fox Restaurant in Lafollette. Back in the day, you could rent a room, get something to eat and fill up the car all in one stop. As an extra added bonus, they pumped your gas.
