On May 1, 2023 Kenneth Owen Seiber left this earth and began celebrating with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was 99.

Kenneth was a veteran of WWII where he served as a Tec-4 in the Infantry. He served in Normandy, Northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland, and Central Europe. He received the carbine rifle sharpshooter badge, American Theater Ribbon, EAME Theater Ribbon with 5 Bronze Stars, Good Conduct Medal, and the Victory Medal.

Kenneth worked for Union Carbide Corporation as a pipe fitter at the Oak Ridge Gaseous Diffusion Plant, and the Oak Ridge National Lab for 33 years. He retired from the Oak Ridge National Lab in 1985.

Kenneth will be forever remembered by his friends and family as an exceptional man, husband, and father.Kenneth was a dedicated and loving husband to his wife Wanda of 72 years, who preceded him in death in 2020. Kenneth is survived by his son Larry, daughters Karen Holstine, Tammy Sharp (Derek), and Vicki Seiber. Ninegrandchildren, Jordan Fraley, Cody Holstine, Connor Osborne, Cheyenne Barber, Thomas Sharp (Kerstin), Rebecca Harmon (Alec), Sara Humphrey (Jeremey), Bre Scott (Brad), Blake Bingham, and nine great grandchildren. Kenneth was a member of Clinch River Baptist Church in Lake City, TN.

Kenneth loved his family and enjoyed anything that involved kids, grandkids, or great grandkids. Kenneth enjoyed hunting, fishing, and flying RC model airplanes. He was a very patient and kind man who helped any neighborhood kid that needed their bicycle worked on. Kenneth was an exceptional man that was loved by everyone. The home health nurses fell in love with him after just one visit. He will be greatly missed.

Graveside service and burial will be in Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Claxton at 1:00 PM May 3, 2023. Leach Family Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of all arrangements. www.leachfamilyfuneralhome.com
