Michael Anthony “Tony”Watson, age 51 of LaFollette, “TheLord is my Shepherd” entered into Heaven and into the presence of his Lord andSavior on Thursday, April 27, 2023. He was born on April 7, 1972 to the lateMike and Sue (Hunley) Watson. Tony was a faithful member of Pleasant RidgeBaptist Church, where he loved to be. He enjoyed fishing and spending time withhis family especially his nieces and nephews that he was crazy about. Tony lovedthe Atlanta Braves, Tennessee Volunteer sports and professional wrestling. Hewas one of the biggest Campbell County Cougar sports fans, as you would see himat every Cougar football and basketball home games.

Tony is survived by hisbrother, Tim Watson of LaFollette; sisters, Renee Gulley and husband Gary ofLaFollette, Pam Welch of Harrogate, and Becky Meredith and husband, Bryan ofPioneer. He is also survived by all of his nieces and nephews, who was like hisown kids. Tony will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.

Visitation will be onMonday, May 1st, 2023 in the Chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Homefrom 5:00 to 7:00 PM with his funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev.Mark Gillum and Rev. Bill Rutherford officiating. Family and friends will meet onTuesday, May 2nd, 2023 at the funeral home at 10:15 AM to go infuneral procession to Elbert Rose Kitts Jr. Cemetery for an 11:00 AM interment.
