LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) The 2023 “Bait for the Cause” Fishing Tournament has been set for April 8. This fishing extravaganza is geared towards adult participants who are invited to enter between the hours of 7am and 3pm, with a $25 entry fee. In addition, younger anglers ages 5-14 are also welcome to participate in this event from 11:30am until 2:30pm on the same day. Junior fishermen must fish from the bank and pay an entry fee of $5.

Food will be available on site for all attendees. Additionally, there will be a raffle drawing.

There are significant prizes up for grabs. The winner of the adult category will receive a cash prize of $1,000. Children have an opportunity to win prizes such as Dixie Custom Rods and gift bags that await the first 20 kids who complete their fishing quests successfully.
