LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – The fun of Casey Kasem’s American Top 40 The 70s trips back to April 1, 1972, Saturday night at 7 pm over WLAF radio. The fun three hours of memories are brought to you by Maynard’s Auto Parts and State Representative Dennis Powers.

Hot songs on this week’s ’40 include Neil Young’s biggest hit, Heart of Gold, along with The Way of Love from Cher. The song taking the largest leap on this chart was Three Dog Night with The Family of Man. America’s debut song, A Horse With No Name, also plays on the Saturday night show. Aside from these songs, you’ll hear the nation’s other top 36 songs over WLAF just like they all played here on the old radio station in 1972.

AT40, The 70s airs Saturday nights at 7:00 o’clock and Sundays at 8pm over WLAF’s FM 100.9 and AM 1450 and is brought to you by Maynard’s Wrecker Service & Auto Parts and State Representative Dennis Powers.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 03/31/2023-6AM)
