The entrance to Myers Lane was temporarily closed Friday evening after two vehicles wrecked into each other.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Two vehicles collided just after 7:00 o’clock Friday evening on East Central Avenue near the Food Lion.

A Ford F-150 and Kia Soul wrecked into each other on East Central Avenue at the Myers Lane turn off injuring one person in each vehicle. Both patients were transported to the La Follette Medical Center.

La Follette Fire and Police along with Campbell County EMS responded to Friday’s two-vehicle wreck.

Myers Lane was temporarily closed and east bound traffic headed to the Food Lion was directed to turn into the shopping center at the east side turn in. West bound traffic was shifted into the Central Avenue turn lane allowing it to flow smoothly.

Just before sunset is when this mishap occurred.

Emergency responders cleared the scene very quickly getting traffic back to its normal flow.. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 04/01/2023-7AM)
