William F. (Bill) Archer, age 78 of LaFollette passed away Friday, March 24, 2023. He was a member of East LaFollette Baptist Church and was retired Clerk and Master of Campbell County after 36 years of service. He served two terms on city council in the city of LaFollette. He is preceded in death by wife Linda Sue Archer, parents Frank & Gladys Sowder Archer, brothers Herb & Raymond Archer, sisters Mildred Baird, Thelma Householder, and Charlotte Walker.

Survivors:

Daughters: Melinda (David) Gibson, Regina (Bryan) Taylor

Son: Justin (Christy) Letner

Grandchildren: Bethany Gibson, Rachel Taylor, Peyton Taylor, Jenna Taylor, Loren Taylor, Joe Goins, and Samantha Leach

Sister: Barbara Petitt

Special Niece and family: Donna & Lonnie England

Along with several other nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

Family will receive friends 11 AM – 1 PM Tuesday, March 28, at East LaFollette Baptist Church with funeral service to follow at 1 PM, Rev. Zach Lloyd officiating. Interment to follow funeral service in Powell Valley Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to his favorite charity, the Campbell County Cancer Association, 210 E Beech St. LaFollette, TN 37766.
