CARYVILLE, TN. (WLAF)- A 52- year-old woman has died following a weekend ATV accident.

Allison Ruley, Caryville, died Saturday after the ATV she was in left the road and traveled down an embankment, according to a report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol. The accident happened around 6pm on Tackett Loop.

The ATV then turned over striking and coming to rest against a tree. Ruley was not wearing a helmet, the report said.

  1. I keep reading about ATV accidents in Campbell County recently? This has got to be the fourth or fifth one of late.
    Are people getting any kind of training at all about safe operation and the limitations of their machines? I know the Air Force required training to use them. What about the civilian world?
