LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Campbell County BSA Troop 435 was front and center learning about litter prevention and what steps it can take to help keep beautiful Campbell County clean and litter free.
At Tuesday’s meeting at the La Follette Methodist Church, Keisha Howard, Executive Assistant and Litter Control Grant Coordinator, and Campbell County Litter Control Officer Glennis Monday spoke about litter prevention and how the troop can help.
“This great group of girls was good listeners and growing to be great stewards for our county,” said Monday.
After the presentation, Troop 435 signed up to help in the March 25 clean-up at Powell Valley Marina. “Please help us spread the word about this wonderful group of girls,” said Howard. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 03/16/2023-6AM)
